Register Today: MDE LGBTQ+ Students Project Trainings

LGBTQ+ students are at disproportionate risk for persistent bullying, harassment, and victimization. During the COVID pandemic, the MDE LGBTQ+ Students Project became more important than ever.  In response to request from school districts across Michigan, project staff created a suite of online trainings to build the capacity of schools to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive culture and climate where all students can thrive.

We are pleased to let you know about the upcoming virtual workshops for Fall 2021! Click the training flyer for details for registering and links to the prerecorded workshops and resource materials.

About the Project. The MDE LGBTQ+ Students Project is led by the Michigan Department of Education, in partnership with the Michigan Organization on Adolescent Sexual Health (MOASH). It is supported by a grant from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, with additional funding from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and Eaton RESA and GISD through grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Adolescent and School Health. The contents are solely the responsibility of MDE, and do not necessarily reflect the official views of the funders.
