About Us

MiSHCA is a non-profit. Our network of experts advocate for any or all of the components of the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) Model. Among these are Regional School Health Coordinators (RSHCs) representing 23 coordinating sites in Michigan, which serve as hubs for operationalizing state directed comprehensive student health and well-being programming in all Michigan schools.

For almost 40 years, RSHCs have served as a vital bridge between state departments and local school districts. We leverage evidence-based programs and practices driven by current state and local data, research, and educational requirements to provide leadership on increasing student well-being so students can achieve academically in our schools and communities.
